Q: How much does it cost?

A: The session fee is $99 +HST. This fee includes a studio mini session and the use of costumes, fairy wings and props. Session fees must be paid when booking a timeslot. Digital files packages, prints, and other products products are sold separately. Prints start at $75 each and digital packages start at $475 +HST. Interest-free payment plans are available for all print orders.

Q: Is there a discount for siblings?

A: Yes! Additional siblings receive a 50% discount on their session fee. Please contact me directly by email suzanne@sweetpeaphoto.ca or call 613-322-2223 to secure two timeslots and be sure to mention both names & ages when sending your booking inquiry.

Q: Are any photos/digitals/prints included in the session fee?

A: Yes, there is one 8x10 art print of your choosing. Additional prints, digitals packages and wall art are all sold separately. Prints start at $75 and digital packages start at $475 (taxes extra).

Q: Do you offer payment plans for print orders?

A: Yes! We offer interest-free payment plans on all orders. Payments can be made by cash, email transfer or credit card. The maximum term for the payment plan is 12 months.

Q: How do I pay?

A: You can pay directly online by credit card when you select your timeslot. Appointments cannot be confirmed or saved until payment is received.

Q: Do you offer refunds if I can't make it?

A: Session fees are non-refundable but can be kept on file until next year's promotion OR it can be transferable to another family should you be unable to keep your appointment. In case of illness, please contact us immediately and we will try to accommodate a new date during the week following the promotion or credit your account until the next promotion takes place. If you fail to notify us and do not show up for your appointment, your session fee will be forfeited.

Q: What are the dates for these promotions?

Q: Can we book a Fairy Portrait session outside of the promotion?

A: Absolutely! Fairy Portraits can be booked any time of year as a private session for $299, based on availability and booked at least two weeks in advance. While our promotional events group several sessions together, off-season sessions are custom-scheduled just for your child. This means we set up the entire enchanted forest scene exclusively for one client, which is why the regular session fee is a bit higher -- but the magic is every bit as real!

Q: Where is your studio located?

A: Our beautiful new commercial studio is located in the south end of Ottawa, near Findlay Creek.

Q: What ages are these promotions suitable for?

A: This promotion is suitable for boys AND girls ages 5-9. Because of the delicate props and costumes, we cannot accommodate children under 4 years of age.

Q: Are costumes provided?

A: YES! For Gone Fishin', we have a selection of blue denim overalls in various sizes. Although it is recommended for girls to bring a white t-shirt or white tank top to wear underneath the overalls, it is optional for boys.

Q: How long is the session?

A: Timeslots are booked every 30 minutes, but the session will take around 20 minutes.

Q: Can parents be present in the studio during the session?

A: To minimize distractions, we ask that ONLY parents and the child(ren) that are participating in the session be present.

Q: Can parents take photos during the session?

A: No. Taking photos with phones or your own camera is strictly prohibited. Please respect our studio policy.

Q: What time should we arrive?

A: Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled timeslot. If you are late, we cannot accommodate extra time (due to the busy schedule).

Q: Is Gone Fishin' just for boys?

A: Nope! This theme is for both boys AND girls!

Q: When will I see the proofs?

A: Approximately 2-3 weeks after the session takes place, we will send out a booking calendar to schedule your Viewing & Ordering session (in studio). Please bring all decision makers (grandparents are welcome to come too!) to the appointment. Viewings last around one hour and will be available Mondays & Fridays (daytime & evening) as well as Saturday afternoons.

Q: Do you provide online galleries?

A: Proofs are available for viewing in studio. Come see your child's beautiful portraits bigger than life on our projection wall! Exceptions can be made for our out-of-town clients.

Q: My child has bruises on his/her knee. Can this be retouched?

A: Absolutely! All final images are fully retouched. Bruises & booboo's will be magically erased!
