I've been capturing the magic of childhood from my Ottawa studio since 2011, and what started as a passion for fine art portraiture has grown into something I'm incredibly proud of — a one-of-a-kind experience that families return to year after year.

I trained in photography at Algonquin College and spent nearly a decade after graduation working my way through a commercial photography apprenticeship, graphic art, and everything in between before launching Sweet Pea. Every bit of that experience goes into the care and craftsmanship behind every session.

I have a knack for getting even the most reluctant kids to relax, laugh, and forget there's a camera pointed at them. It's genuinely my favourite part of the job — and it's why so many parents tell me afterward that they were amazed at what I managed to capture.

The best part of my job? When a client emails me to say they love their photos. When my work brings tears of happiness — that's when my heart sings.

I believe childhood goes by faster than anyone warns you.

My job is to slow it down for just a moment and hand you something you'll treasure for the rest of your life.
